Dr. Steven Black is a 2002 graduate of Case Western Reserve School of Dentistry, in Cleveland, Ohio.  After graduation, he joined the United States Air Force and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia.  After serving 2 assignments as a general dentist in California and Italy, he completed a 2-year residency in endodontics through Louisiana State University and Keesler Medical Center in Biloxi.  Following graduation from the endodontic residency in 2012, Dr. Black served 4 years at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida, before returning to the Mississippi Gulf Coast in 2016 as an instructor in the Keesler Medical Center endodontics program, becoming the program director in 2019.   Dr. Black has completed the board certification process to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. 

Dr. Black has been married 25 years to his sweetheart JaNae’, and they are the parents of five children. In his free time, Dr. Black goes to whatever activities his kids are involved in, watches a lot of sports, golfs once in a while, eats a lot of ice cream, and is trying to learn how to play the guitar!
